Healthy Coffee Smoothie at Home – Easy 3-Minute Recipe with Protein
It’s summer, which means it’s time for pool days, evening walks, sundresses, and HOT days. I love a warm coffee beverage, but summer calls for iced coffee.
I love an iced coffee with milk, but I love a healthy coffee smoothie even more!
Follow these five simple steps to make a delicious, healthy, high-protein, low-calorie coffee smoothie in less than 3 minutes (I promise!).
5 Step Recipe to Make a Healthy Iced Coffee Smoothie at Home in 3 Minutes
1. Buy the Ingredients for the Iced Coffee Protein Smoothie
This iced coffee smoothie recipe calls for four simple ingredients.
Amazon Prime offers free delivery from Whole Foods if you spend $35, and Amazon sells protein powder and instant coffee (two of the ingredients in this coffee smoothie) at a great price.
Ingredients Needed for the Iced Coffee Recipe
Milk: 1% organic milk – available from Whole Foods (https://amzn.to/2YwDS4q)
Instant Coffee: My favorite is the Nescafe Taster’s Choice (https://amzn.to/2AkWH2Q)
Banana: Organic bananas (https://amzn.to/2UCZdbD)
Protein Powder: Plant Based Protein Powder with No Sugar Added (https://amzn.to/3fgzVI4)
2. Add Iced-Cubes, Banana, and Protein Powder to Blender
Add 4-6 ice-cubes, 1 banana, and 1 scoop of protein powder to the blender.
3. Add Instant Coffee and Milk to Blender
Add 2 tablespoons (I use a lot!) and ½ cup milk to the blender.
4. Add Water and Blend
Add ½ cup water and blend for 5-10 seconds.
5. Enjoy Your Healthy Iced Coffee Smoothie!!
Pour your iced coffee smoothie into your favorite coffee cup, and enjoy!

Calories and Nutritional Information in a Healthy Coffee Smoothie

Recipe Modifications for Making Your Iced Healthy Coffee Smoothie at Home
If you want to add more to your coffee smoothie, try any of these modifications.
Collagen Powder
Add a scoop of collagen powder to increase the protein count. Collagen also helps build healthy and strong nails!
Powdered Milk
For a rich coffee smoothie, swap out the milk with a scoop of powdered milk. Powdered milk will add a creamy texture, and the extra fat in whole powdered milk vs. 1% milk will make the coffee shake tastier.
Frozen Banana
Peel you the banana and put it in the freezer. A frozen banana vs. a regular banana makes a coffee smoothie extra tasty and refreshing on a hot day!
Vitamins
If you hate taking vitamins each day, add them to your smoothie and drink them! One of my daily vitamins if Acetyl L-Carnitine.
